A-Z Filter for Subcatagory

I have some 750+ products for one subcatagory and I really need a way for the customers to filter those results alphabetically. I'd rather not create a subcatagory for each letter, as it looks rather cheesey in the catagory sidebox. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I still can't find a reasonable solution to this problem. I really need an answer, as the site can't go live until this hurdle is overcome.

Definitely could be written ... to make this additional filter ... and would be most handy for people who know precisely the name that they are looking for ...

However, as I, joe blow customer, haven't a clue what the name of a game is ... or only know a part of a name and might miss the first letter ... I might suggest that you also add these Products as Linked Products to some type of Game break down of Sub Categories ...

That's an excellent suggestion! And it will provide a temporary fix to this problem. I'm glad it's possible, and I posted in the Commercial help wanted section so hopefully someone will come up with the code.
