Admin Errors

Good afternoon all,

Just recently I've been getting the strangest errors when I try to modify or insert a new EZ page:

NOT ACCEPTABLE An appropriate representation of the requested resource /Name of My AdminDirectory/ezpages.php could not be found on this server.

Or, when I use Tool Kit to search for files I get:

Warning: is_dir(): Stat failed for /home/handmad/public_html/includes//templates/Series_12_Paper/html_includes/define_privacy.php (errno=13 - Permission denied) in /home/handmad/public_html/Name of My Admin Dir/developers_tool_kit.php on line 41

for numerous entries.

My permissions for my admin folder are 755.
I'm on 1.3.02,
Server Host: server380.tchmachines.com (SSL)
Database Host: localhost (127.0.0.1)
Server OS: Linux 2.4.21-47.ELsmp
Database: MySQL 4.1.21-standard
PHP Version: 4.4.2 HTTP Server: Apache

I have no clue as to what I broke

Check the /admin/includes/configure.php file ...

I am seeing double // in that error path ... rather suggests a typo in there ...

Also if you are really using directory names with spaces ... do yourself a favor and use proper unix conventions of lower case ... no spaces ... no special characters ...

I recently had this error with Easy Populate and it turned out to be the rule set in mod_security. My host made some changes and all was fixed.

There is a good chance your host has tweaked their mod_security rules to lock down the server thus causing your problem.

No, Linda - I don't use spaces in my dir names. I just didn't want to reveal my secret admin code (c'mon - I'm a Zen Follower! )

Fixed half of the problems:

What happened in both my config files is that I had my https server with "www," which made things go screwy

So

Editing is fine; still getting weirdness with Developers' Kit.

Awaiting host's response. I'll post the resolution when found.

I have unresolved simalar issues when using explorer 5.2.3 (browser) within the control panel of Zen-Cart 1.3.5 This does not happen to me when using Firefox browser, but Firefox freezes at the HTMLarea functions. Lastly, My browser pref is Safari but again at LTMLarea it indicates a "Browser not supported, but I'l try" prompt. What Browswe does Zen-Cart funtion best with? Or is there a remedy to the issues above? Thank you for the consideration of the read.
