Product - show date available

What can I do to show the date available of product in every product page?

I knew how to control the 'Product date add' in Admin but I cannot find 'Product date available' there. Please help.

Check the settings in the Catalog ... Product Type ... Edit Layout ...

Show Date Available
Display Date Available on Product Info 0= off 1= on

Make sure that it is set to true ...

Thanks Ajeh. My configuration is the same as what you said but nothing show in product page. Then I tried the one below 'Show Date Added', its worked perfect.
So strange..........

Is there any other place can control the show up of Product Date available?

Date Available only shows on something that is NOT yet Available ...

Date Added only shows on something that IS already Available ...

Make sure you are looking at the right Products to see the right information ...

Thanks Ajeh. My situation is that I want to pre-order for the products. I knew the quantity of the product that I will get later. So I set the product quantity. And I also want to notify the customers that this product is available to buy but will ship after the Product Date Available.

What can I do to solve this problem?

Do I need to write on the description to show the product date available? It is not good for me because I need to modify every product description before and after the date available....

Any suggestion? Thanks.

The dates are based on two choices ...

Either you see the date added ...

Or, you see the date available ...

You do not see both at the same time ...

If the products_date_available is in the future ... tomorrow, next week, next month etc. you will see:

This product will be in stock on Wednesday 21 February, 2007.

If the products_date_available is today, yesterday, last week, last month, etc. you will see:

This product was added to our catalog on Monday 03 November, 2003.

Somethings really strange to me is that I am not intend to show both date available and date add at the same product in the same time. I only want to show date available in future products. The solution should be easy as what you said to set Product Date Available to True and Product Date Add to False. However, my future products show nothing to date available. That's why I posted this thread.

Now some magic happened after I changed these two setting several times and set again Product Date Available to True and Product Date Add to False. The future products show DATE AVAILABLE and in-stock products show nothing.........I am very happy now.
