Simple Zen Template - Support Thread

With any upgrade, one of the most important steps is to see if any of the files used in a custom template have been changed by the upgrade. For instance, contact_us is changed in 1.5.1. If your template had made any changes to that file, you would need to carefully merge the two together to make sure your customizations work with the current version.

Also, if any of the template files have code that the current version of PHP does not like, you will get errors.

Best and quickest way for you to find out is to create a test site (in something like yoursite/_test) and give it a go. Install the latest version and then your template files.

I know this sounds like lots of steps are left out. That's on purpose in hopes you'll look at http://www.zen-cart.com/entry.php?3-...d-of-upgrading. Consider the new site as _test and give it a whirl.

Thanks for the reply! I do have my test site up and running. I copied over the Simple Zen template from 1.3.8a to 1.5.1 and it all seemed to work OK, so I'm forging onward!
