is therea way to set the product free provided you buy a certain product?

say you want to buy paint but if you buy that you get a free paintbrush--- but at the same time you want to be able to sell that paintbrush as well...

OK if it is not a feature then is there a recommended workaround or a preferred way to accomplish something like this....so a buyer will know that if they buy a particular product or buy more than 1 of a product that they will get an additional speficied product for free.
