i have the same problem as well...
unlike peanut77 I wasnt able to replicate the problem.
I had 12 orders, and of which, I had 3 incidences occured....

There are moe safeties now in the up coming Zen Cart v1.3.8 to prevent this so that the coupon is tested each step of the way to prevent this type of thing from happening ...
We are working to get that out asap ...

Hello,
we have been experiencing the problem also. It has happenened on approx8 occations in the past 1 month. The only payment module we have installed is the cheque/money order and also Paypal. Site is 1.3.6.
Any news on a fix yet?
3 days ago, in the post above yours, I mentioned that this is fixed in Zen Cart v1.3.8 ...

I'm Having the same problem with Protx form and Discount Coupons.
Also big problems with incorrect totals using discount coupons.
It is a clean install of 1.3.7
Example of totals at the bottom of invoice-
Sub total :£194.30
Table Rate : £5.99
Discount Coupon :88d411640d: - £13.58
Total : £154.49
Very Strange >>??? What else is added to the sub total to make the total which is not seen?

In case it helps, this is what I found out when testing coupon problems:
In our case, the payment page isn't skipped, the credit card info just doesn't come through to the admin, and the card doesn't get charged.
It only happens when:
* Customer is in same state as shop (charged tax)
* Item in cart is on the "restrictions" list in coupon.
This happens using Authorize.net as the payment method.
forgot to mention. It was with a paypal payment.
I have noticed this as well - same province, coupon is used, there are restrictions but in my case, it's always with CC payment and I don't get the CC number at all.
Ah ha! Finally a commonality - We are investigating.
