problem with credit card processing

I'm running a test on a ecommerce site I've built with zen-cart and having trouble with the credit card processing. Basically it's telling me that it doesnt accept my credit card or the info is in there wrong. I have the CC info in correctly (tried the number with both saces and no spaces), but its not working.

I installed the Credit Card module under admin/modules/payment. I also have the credit cards activated under admin/configuration/credit cards. Did I overlook something? Is the authorizenet module necessary as well? Something else?
