Admin Activity Log - What is Cleaned Out?

Hello,

I too have received the message to clean out the admin activity log file. I need to find out what is deleted when you clean this. I do not want to lose customer data and have not had a chance to go in to each and every record and convert everything to my accounting software. (That's another problem)

Until I get a chance to do that I don't want to delete anything. What type of information will I no longer have after cleaning out this log? Also, I have the two month warning. Is is safe to assume I can wait until the 50,000 record warning before doing anything?

The admin_activity_log ...

This collections actions in the Admin ... should you need to check it ... it is there for you ...

From time to time it should be cleaned out as it gets large ...

Warnings are given at 2 mos or 50,000 records ...

Another bit of clarification ... the admin activity log is especially for recording the movement of the admin on the site. Like when you logged on with what IP and what did you do/change and so on. It does not delete any of your customer data, when you clean that log,but it is ofcourse wise to make backups once in a while. (Not relating to this action)

There are no worries to clean that log, unless you know or assume your site was hacked.
