    Problem uploading images

I'm new to Zen Cart, having just installed my first time, had a few small glitches but found errors quickly. I am experiencing one problem that I can not figure out, and could be something simple that as a newbie I'm missing. I've tried putting in manufacturers and products. The text and price sections seem to work fine, but with the images, the upload seems to work fine (no error messages) but when I go to view, I get Image Does Not Exist and when I check the directory where it supposedly uploaded to, there is no image, the folder is set to 777 so that isn;t the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Make sure that while you "think" you set the directories on /images and all subdirectories in there to 777 that it actually happened ...

Some hosting sites do not allow this via your FTP and you may be telling it do this, but it may not actually be happening ...

When Adding/Editing the product ... do you get an error message at the top of the page regarding the image?

I've checked through the ftp and hosts file manager, both show the directory and everything inside is set to 777. And no error messages appear either during the product adding or the manufacturer. That is why I'm stumped.
    Thanks in advance.

Just on a hunch, can you check your hosting account's "errorlog" and show the last 30 lines from it?

    What browser are you using?

Have you tried with FireFox or IE?

If you close all browser sessions and clear cache and cookies and start with a clean browser?

What kind of server? windows or unix?

Could you post your file, from the server, for:
    /admin/includes/configure.php

    without your username and password?
