    Default Override instead of Upgrade?

I just installed v 1.3.0.2 a few days ago. I haven't made but a very few changes..haven't added any products yet, haven't even custimized the css yet.
Can I just upload the files in zen-cart-v1.3.5-full-fileset-09042006.zip and let them override the old files? Or do I have to go thru the zc_install ?
    Thanks!

You have to run the /zc_install and do an Upgrade ... this upgrades the database files ...

Backup your database and site ...

We recommend that you do a test upgrade and not attempt to upgrade a Live site directly ...

Think of it as good practice even if this is just a working site ...

Did you read my question...there is no database...the cart is not live, it hasn';t even been customized...
I read the upgrade instructions and I don't understand them...seems like it would just be easier to delete the cart folder in FTP and start over with installing the new version..

Actually you said you made changes ...

You did not mention that you did not give a flip about the v1.3.0.2 version ...

Since you don't ... trash it and do a clean install of v1.3.5 and you will live a long and happier life for it ...

Dizzie - if you've installed ZC, you must have a database which has x number of tables, albeit empty of product data, but which contain configuration info What Linda is saying is that 1.3.5 changes some of that.

So, even if you simply overwrite the existing files, you will still need to upgrade the database via zc_install, or you can do a completely fresh install.
