    Default Help! Upgrade option missing.

when I run the installer, I had forgotten to set the permissions on one of my configure.php files. No problem, I just zipped into ftp and changed it. ON the installer screen however it had options to re-check and the others were grayed out. There was a huge red warning about hitting upgrade instead of install above that. So I hit the recheck, everything was fine, scroll down and now no warning displayed and only option is install or recheck. there isn't even a button for upgrade.

do I install it? What did I do??

ETA: I read the docs, and what it said about not connecting to my database. Check my configure.php settings. I'm not sure what else that meant both mine are at 0777 right now for upgrading.

    Stop! Don't touch ...

You need to grab the Zen Cart v1.3.5 with today's date on it from SourceForge and reload your /includes/configure.php and/or /admin/includes/configure.php as it probably was sucked off the server ...

er ... eatten during the test ... er ... well it isn't there any more or damaged ... which is part of the fix from last night's release ...

See if that doesn't get back the Upgrade button for you ...

Ajeh that is the files I am using. I just downloaded that new set about 20 min prior to trying to upgrade. I haven't touched anything or continued anything. Should I reload by old configure.php files?? From the back up I had of my entire fileset?

Yes ... reload the configure.php and reset to 777 ...

And try the recheck or start over with the /zc_install

Now does the Upgrade button show?

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay so it found the upgrade option now.

Which doesn't matter because it was sending me three errors, two password ones and one "couldn't rename all tables" or something. So I go to check on the password deal, I know I'm using the right one, and once again I have errors to my admin:

Warning: main(/hsphere/local/home/hodllc/houseofdiva.com/zencart/includes/extra_configures/bmz_image_handler_conf.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hsphere/local/home/hodllc/bellamadeleine.com/boutique/admin/includes/extra_configures/bmz_image_handler_conf.php on line 12

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/hsphere/local/home/hodllc/houseofdiva.com/zencart/includes/extra_configures/bmz_image_handler_conf.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /hsphere/local/home/hodllc/bellamadeleine.com/boutique/admin/includes/extra_configures/bmz_image_handler_conf.php on line 12

so it won't upgrad and I can't get into admin. LOL my zencart just me.

hmm whoa. I just realized what the whole error said. Sometimes the massive amount of black printing glazes my eyes over....

I need to check the configure.php files and which back up they came from apparently... bbiam and report if errors go away with different config files.

Hmm. I put in two good configure.php files and now get this error

Warning: main(/includes/extra_configures/bmz_image_handler_conf.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hsphere/local/home/hodllc/bellamadeleine.com/boutique/admin/includes/extra_configures/bmz_image_handler_conf.php on line 12
