    Default changing the footer/copyright section

    I want to add some additional information in the copyright section of the footer, but can't figure out where to do that. Can anyone tell me which file I need to modify?

    in includes -> templates -> YOUR_TMPLATE -> common -> tpl_footer.php

    Find:

    PHP Code:
    <!--bof-navigation display -->
    <div id="navSuppWrapper">
    <div id="navSupp">
    <ul>
    <li><?php echo '<a href="' HTTP_SERVER DIR_WS_CATALOG '">'?><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG?></a></li>
    And just comment it out.

    define('FOOTER_TEXT_BODY', 'Copyright &copy; 2003-2006 <a href="http://www.zen-cart.com" target="_blank">Zen Cart</a>. Powered by <a href="http://www.zen-cart.com" target="_blank">Zen Cart</a>');

    I'm trying to add another line below this but get a parse error.
    You can't change one thing without getting an error.

    Also, I told my client we need to keep the Powered by but what about the copyright? I couldn't also change any text without getting an error.

    What do I do or where do I go to add another line at least?

    You should be able to do something like this.

    PHP Code:
    define('FOOTER_TEXT_BODY''Copyright &copy; 2003-2006 Your Company Name. Powered by <a href="http://www.zen-cart.com" target="_blank">Zen Cart</a><br />whatever text you want goes here');

    Here's the official line on the Copyright and Powered by Zen text
    Copyright © 200X Zen Cart covers the design and graphics in the templates. If you are using a stock template with the included graphics you must leave the copyright. If you make a custom template and use your own graphics you may change the copyright.

    Shops that wish to be listed in the Zen Showcase must leave Powered by Zen Cart in the footer for identification.Leaving the Powered by Zen Cart is advantageous to both you and Zen Cart because a relevant reciprocal link can help you with search engine rankings. In the event you do not wish to be listed in the Zen Showcase, Powered by Zen Cart may be removed, but it may not be changed.

    Thanks Clyde.
    It had to be the <br /> because I just used <br>.

    Kuroi. I changed the graphics and everything so I guess the answer is yes.

    Thanks, Steve

    I have changed the Footer Copyright to:

    define('FOOTER_TEXT_BODY', 'Copyright &copy; 2003-2006 <a href="deleted URL" target="_blank">My Company</a>. Powered by <a href="http://www.zen-cart.com" target="_blank">Zen Cart</a>');

    what I would like to know is how to replace the original deleted URL with an email link to "My Company".
    Best Regards

    Keith
