Can some one help me on this

I don'r know if it is very dificult to make this, but for me I need to input directly
the product Cost and that is the normal.
And the second Field: Gross Margin $ instead of the Markup Percent, that need to be automaticly calculated.

I've allready tried to make this to work, but without any success.



Does some one manage to link this with the mod "quick updates" or "inventory report" ?

I too am looking for a way to get rid of this too, and I am considering rolling back to a backup of my store made a few weeks ago. Is there any way, even manually, to remove this program?

Question: I just installed the profit share report, and it seems to be working fine.

I wanted to know if anyone knows if the profit share report takes into account changes in sales price? For example, if I have a product set to $10.00, and I discount it to $5.00 for one week, and raise it back to $10.00 thereafter, will the profit report base the final profit figure off the fluctuation in sale prices.

In other words, I sell 10 units at $10.00, sell 10 units at the discounted price, and another 10 units at $10.00 thereafter. The total gross sales would be $250 dollars. Let's say my cost per unit is $1.00, therefore, my total profit would be $225.

So, the question remains, would this come out correctly in the zencart module, or would the profit report not recognize the units sold at the discounted $5 once I raised the price up to $10.00, backdating those units sold to the current price?

I hope that is not too confusing and makes sense.

So I've modded EasyPopulate to take and insert all the correct fields based on my OpenOffice file. The problem seems to be that the Profit Margin mod won't read those out of the DB when I edit a file. Kind of useless.

Anybody have experience with this?

I am sure I am not the only one asking myself how I can uninstall this mod (especially the added SQL patch).

Your db is easy, just open PhpMyadmin and go to your products table and remove the following fields - products_cost, products_markup, products_margin_gross_dollar and products_margin_gross_percent. Then go to your orders_products table and remove one field - products_cost. Just look at the structure of those two tables tick the box next to the field and scroll down and click the red x button. Or you can write a quick query to remove those fields, which ever you are more comfortable with. Takes two minutes.

To remove the files just open the contribution and remove added files and revert to your backup files... you did back up your files...right?
