    Default no link for downloading

    Hi again,

    when checking out after commanding through paypal, everything goes right and I am returned to my site, except that no link apprears in order to downloiad the product purchased.

    Is it related to the fact that in admin>module>payment>paypal IPN, I no longer have the choice, when trying to edit, for entering "pending" and "procerssing" wherever it is recommended to do so, the only option available being "default"?

    I'm not sure what version of Zen Cart you're using, so I can't comment on what options are to be expected in editing the module's settings.

    However, "default' should work if you haven't changed the store's defaults.

    The real issue is likely related to paypal configuration challenges.

    If the feedback from the PayPal server isn't getting to your server, then the orders won't be released, and thus the downloads will not be available ... until the PayPal confirmation comes through and causes the order to be completed.

    Sorry for not mentionning that I am using 1.3.5. I have not changed the store's defaults, nor anything in my paypal configuration. Everything seems normal in the paypal transaction. I receive confirmation of the sale from them and I am returned safely to the checkout success page, except that there is a blank space after the "your order has the number..." (sorry, my shop is in french so I am not sure about the wording), and no link.

    Okay ... then it's necessary to follow the troubleshooting steps in the link I gave above.

    Does this happen only on orders in french? Can you test an english transaction and see if it works differently?

    TX. I've followed the steps. Few errors here and there that I have corrected, now it is working with a paypal account. But when I test without a paypal account, that is, with a credit card through paypal, it works fine except that I am not returned to my site after payment.

    Any idea?

    Follow up

    Found the problem. In "Web Site Payment Preferances", the "Paypal Account Optional" must not be on for the auto-return to function. If it is, the customer has to click the link "return to merchant" to come back to the site and thus be able to download the product.
