Sidebox Header - Change Font Style

^ Howdy to you too! Yeah, it sure has been awhile. I guess i just can't stay away, but I'm limiting my spare time investments. My mom's out of town, so no dinner today and I have the whole evening to burn some time.

But, I'm back and I already found a likely receiver for a free template design due to boredom today. It's my addiction, I can't fight it. I'll have to upload the brand new Zen onto my test server account, many thanks to the hoster for not locking me out of the C/P due to not logging in every month as the stipulations were.

Very true. I also have memory failure. I'm having a heck of a time installing the test cart, I can't remember my database p/w.

I have the specials box title font size smaller then others. but the [FONT='Times New Roman']New Products [/FONT][FONT=&#23435]，[/FONT][FONT='Times New Roman']Reviews[/FONT][FONT=&#23435]，[/FONT][FONT='Times New Roman']Featured box title font size larger then others , what's the matter? thanks for any helps.[/FONT]

Did you install an additional side box and the font isn't the same as the rest?

How can i remove 'Categories' or another sidebox header and the placeholder ? I know that the topic is being addressed on this forum in many places but it seems to me that answers are very fragmented and not complete (for less experienced like myself...) If you could post a complete instruction, based on removing i.e. a Banner Sidebox Header along with its placeholder I think it would be very helpful to many of us... I have spent few hours reading existing posts on this topic and trying stuff but must give up and ask for detailed help (which files need to be changed, changed how and where)

The easiest way to do this is with your /includes/templates/your_template/css/stylesheet.css.

Find the id of the desired sidebox heading and set it to not display, e.g. add a new declaration to your stylesheet

#categoriesHeading {
    display: none;
    }

which will completely disable the categories heading text and its background block.

The lowest-tech way to find the id is with View Source:

<h3 class="leftBoxHeading" id="categoriesHeading">Categories</h3>

A very efficient way is with the Firefox Web Developer extension (download free from mozilla) and its Information > Display Element Information button.
