    Default authorize.net(aim) stuck

i am trying use the authorize.net(aim)module (test mode). i am unable to get beyond the confirm order button. either the connection becomes disconnected or the page just wont load. i have an ssl certificate. i have been able to download the files as a free product but setting everything up for credit card payments has got me officially stumped!

any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated!

    John,
I ran into a similar problem the other day with a new Auth.net account. In the admin/modules/payment/Authorize.net(AIM), it asks for the Login Username that you use to log in to your Auth.net account. As of a couple of weeks ago, Auth.net now requires that you input your "API LOGIN" into this field. Otherwise when attempting to process any orders, you will receive an error message on your cart.

Also, make sure that your Auth.net account Test Mode is turned to "OFF".

    Hope this helps,
    Greg

log into your Auth.net account and click on the Account tab, top right, scroll down to section 2 "Security Settings", "General Security Settings", and click on "API Login ID and Transaction Key". This will take you to a page that lists your API Login ID. Copy this number and enter in the space on the zen/admin/modules/payment/AIM that asks for your login id, then copy the transaction key and do the same in the space below.

    Greg
