This is not an attempt to open another thread to debate zencart software issues, I would like to find a solution to the Zencart installations that I am using.
I am still running 1.2.4, which I know is very old. I have attempted to upgrade several times now and had some strange errors occur each time, for which I have had no resolution. My question is, if I install clean install of new, latest version, is there a way to transfer the user, product, and order info from one to the other. I am not sure if this is any different from the normal upgrade process, but I am trying to find a way to stick with this software, but if I have to completely tear it down and rebuild store from ground zero then I most likely will not.
Is there some way which to do what I am hoping, or someone who can assist in upgrade difficulties ?
