    Default Checkout not proceeding

    This is a new problem. The shopping cart has stopped proceeding from step 1 to step 2. When the continue button is selected, it just brings up the step 1 of check out page again.

    What shipping modules are installed?

    Do you have zones on them?

    Do your products have 0 weight?

    Does 0 weight mean Free Shipping? If so, is the Free Shipping freeshipper Shipping Module installed?

    If not, do you have it marked in the Shipping/Packaging that 0 weight does not mean Free Shipping?

    I've had the same problem... went to straight table shipping and it unfroze, but I want to use USPS/UPS

    I think the problem could be with your shipping module. Did you turned off shipping charges? Did you set any products as free shipping?

    I have some orders set for free shipping if the shipping weight is 0, and my cart is having the same problem right now--not proceeding to step two. What is the solution? Thanks!

    Do you have the Free Shipping freeshipper module installed?

    When there are Always Free Shipping or 0 weight means free shipping you need that ...

    Yes, I have free shipper installed. I sell a combination of virtual products (Ebooks, etc.) and physical products. Is there some way to correct this problems so that I can enable USPS and also have no charge for products with no weight? Thanks for your help!

    If the order has weight ... then USPS should be showing providing you do not have a Zone setup that is blocking it ...

    The order does have weight, and no zones are selected in the USPS module, but this is the error I get:

    "Unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
    If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance."

    By the way, I have pretty much all of the possible shipping methods listed.

    Is there some other area where I should be checking to see if I did something wrong? for now I set it up for "table rate shipping" but I don't want to keep it there, as I have international customers too.
