    IIS Password Error

    Hello ZenCart Experiance User

    I have Windows 2003 Server but PHP and MySql is there

    Plz Help me , I am not Expart in PHP so
    After Ftp of zencart when i run www.mydomain.com/zc_install/ it gives me this error

    IISPassword
    The page cannot be displayed
    There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed. It is most likely that configuration files for this url are corrupted
    ---------------------------------------------------------

    and at bottom of page

    --------------------------------------------------------
    HTTP Error 500
    IISPassword for Internet Information Services
    --------------------------------------------------------


    So what should i do now to remove this error and install zencart on my windows base server

    I'm not sure what's causing that particular error for you, but you may find this document useful conceptually. Granted, it's written around Apache on Windows. But the concepts are similar.

    You may want to try removing all .htaccess files since IIS doesn't like those. You'll have to find other ways of securing your site according to IIS security standards, which are not documented here.

    i have the same problem
    i give a permision to the all folders and files inside i make it 777 ..
    but still have a problem .
    what i have to do ??
    please advice me ASAP ..

    i solve the problem by rename the .htacess file
