Merlin, thanks for your suggestion, but it didn't work. I guess AusWeb have that one screwed down as well.
Misty, thanks I'll PM you for hosters.
Alfo, actually we can't charge flat rate postage since we sell items ranging from 10grams to 20kg and with flat rate either we charge low and lose money or charge high and deter customers buying the smaller items.
As someone else mentioned in another thread, tell AusWeb to refund the unused months subscription costs or otherwise you'll generate a chargeback, in which case they'll lose the lot!
Anyone know a PHP alternative for fopen?
Reuben
Ausweb isn't the problem I'm afraid. Nor does it seem to be the settings that Merlinpa suggest you override. My host (golivehost.com) has both of the setttings as per Merlinpa's recommendation vizbut Auspost still fails with this error:Directive Local Value Master Value
allow_url_fopen On On
register_globals On On
safe_mode Off Off
so it looks like the problem - and the solution, lies elsewhere.Code:Warning: file(http://drc.edeliver.com.au/ratecalc.asp?Pickup_Postcode=2026&Destination_Postcode=CV21 3QP&Country=GB&Weight=2425.3846153846&Service_Type=AIR&Height=100&Width=100&Length=100&Quantity=13): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! in /var/www/store/includes/modules/shipping/auspostair.php on line 81 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/store/includes/modules/shipping/auspostair.php on line 82
Maybe but can you confirm how the postcode was entered?
I notice you have a Coventry code, was it entered as CV21 nnn or CV21nnn.
The space creates a critical error in the auspost system and you have to strip the spaces out in the code using string replace.
Cant think of the code right now but it is on another thread.
