Cannot access the admin area

Hey guys,

Well i recently installed Zan-Cart on my website, and everything install perfectly, there were no errors which poped up or anything. My dilema is that I cannot access my admin area, sometimes if Im lucky it will bring up the login box, but most of the time it says "Unable to connect". I have been through the FAQs and tried both solutions offered by the site. If I rename the .htaccess file, I get the error everytime I try and load the page. Whereas sometimes I may get the login box, when its .htaccess, and when I input my details and hit login, I get the error again.

So can anyone help me please?

Seems like your browser problem
Can you try the same in IE?
or delete the cookies in FF and then try again?

Do you have the admin folder (and all the files inside that folder) placed in your shop directory?

Do you know where your files are stored , as they don't look like they are stored in the root of your domain .

When youve established this , check your configure.php files in includes and admin/includes to see if the paths for your admin area are correct.

without seeing it , not much to go on !

If you turn off the enable secure in the /includes/admin/configure.php does this work?

If so, check that you are using the proper secure URL for your site ...

oh i feel like such a fool. I had enabled SSL in the admin area. sorry for wasting your time guys, but thanks alot for the help :)
