    Tracking stock when using attributes

i have created a product X with color and size attributes. how can i accurately keep track of my stock for each instance of product X in color Y and size Z?

would i have to remove the attributes and create separate products for each combination?

    thanks.

Stock by attributes is not yet a part of the core Zen Cart Code. There are a couple of the contribs in the Downloads sections that might help.

thnks. just to make it simpler fo rme, i think i am going to create separate products for now. manging my stock at this point is more important than being able to use the attirbutes feature.

Consider putting a link in the description of product x to product y and viceversa. That way a customer can still find everything they need on the first search.

I did something like this for jewelry sets where the individual items were also sold separately.
