popup image as an overlay not working properly in IE

Hi,

I found this javascript called iBox from this thred http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...highlight=ibox

I replaced the javascript on /includes/modules/pages/product_info/jscript_main.php with the iBox code. Uploaded the stylesheet_ibox.css.

When click on the main product image, it works fine in firefox. In IE, however, the product attribute options are not under the overlay... which can be seen on this test page http://www.nokoria.com/catalog/index...products_id=26

Could any one help please? Thank you...

try searching here for z-index or Google

I added this:

#attrib-3{
z-index: -1;
}

to my stylesheet.css. It makes no different.

I am not familiar with the mod you have used for this. It appears that IE checks ancestors and calculates the z-index property based on those that are positioned relative or absolute; But, If they don’t have any z-index property specified, descendents on which the z-index property is specified will not live in a higher level among other positioned elements. So I would check the mod that renders the semi trans overlay and insure that it has a z-index value applied to it. Specifically the overlay and only for IE. Don't you just love IE...

Thank you for the responds. I fixed it now. I had to add some codes to the javascript from ibox.

However, only the main product image work; when click on the additional images, it gave me javascript error message.
