How i can add new data fields to a Product

I want to add new data fields to a product. which will store in the database. Please guide me if possible

I have a car as a product. I want to keep Chasis No., Model No., etc, information in database separetly. How to solve this problem?

Yes ... that is known as creating a new product type ...

You may wish to look at the Downloads and see how additional product types have been created ...

Cloning them and then customizing them can be a bit time consuming ... but in the end, you will be happier that you did this ...
