    Default MySQL backup plug in

    Well,

I've tried myphpadmin to no avail. Just cant create the setup script.

I haven't finigured out which of dozens of MySQL admin apps to attempt.

So now I'm trying, again, Dr. Bytes MySQL backup plug in.
To install it says to simply
"Upload all files from the "admin" folder of this ZIP as-is to your server, retaining folder structures"
Where? in the main dir? not in the zen cart folder? The zen cart folder already has an Includes folder. I'm supposed to overwrite a folder as important as this?

    Dr. Byte, please elaborate.

If it tells you to upload the admin folder
then you upload the admin folder ( ENTIRE FOLDER ) into the zen cart root,
    Zen cart PCI compliant Hosting

    Sorry Merlin, I was just afraid I might overwrite my current admin folder. Anyways it did work. Now I have to deal with the error below;

The backup failed because there was an error starting the backup program (mysqldump or mysqldump.exe).
If running on Windows 2003 server, you may need to alter permissions on cmd.exe to allow Special Access to the Internet Guest Account to read/execute.
You should talk to your webhost about why exec() commands are failing when attempting to run the mysqldump binary/program.

I know this is an issue with my server Crystaltech. I'll going through their forums on this in the morn.

    Thanks

Just wanted to let everyone know what my host Crystaltech said regarding the inoperability of Dr Bytes MySQL_Backup plug in. They said I don't have permission to execute that command on any of their shared servers and I should stick to GUI progs instead.
Well, back to the drawing board.

If you had read the description of the backup tool, it says it doesn't work on some servers and Windows is one of those.
