Default Change the site path/folder on my server

I have my store at /zen right now.

I would like to change it now to my home directory of just /

Where do I make that change?

    Thanks.

Better make a index.html file in the root and redirect it to zen directory!

Redirects are not the solution ...

If you were to use a redirect, you would do a true redirect via your Control Panel so that the Search Engines do not abandon you ...

If you really physically want to move your site up one level from:
    /zen

    into the root:
    /

Move everything up one level into the root directory ...

WARNING: look in your root directory first, is there anything you are about to wipe out with duplicate names, directories, etc.?

    Edit the files:
    /includes/configure.php
    /admin/includes/configure.php

Change all references to the directory /zen/ to be / in all of the defines ...

If I wanted to do a redirect in my control panel, what files would I need to edit in order to keep the site working properly?

    Thanks!

I did a redirect from my control panel, edited the configure files, all works great with one hiccup.

The login buttons don't take me to the right location anymore. The domain is www.valleymeals.com. Any suggestions?

    Yes, it works now... :)

I think the server was just still updating.

    Thanks!

I'm not sure about the home button not working, it's working for me. But we're working on the site as I type, so maybe something was being worked on right when you tried.

    It should work now.

The URL posted by superprg doesn't look healthy.

    Hi all,

Newb here. I followed the directions listed in the link above, to move my cart from folder /cart to /coast, but I'm getting the following errors when I try to view the cart, or the admin section:
    Code:
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /home/XXXXXX/public_html/coast/includes/configure.php:67) in /home/XXXXXX/public_html/coast/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 102
    Any ideas?
