    Default Price still displays...

    I have done all of this:

    Configuration <==
    * New Listing <== for New Product
    * Featured Listing <== for Featured Product
    * All Listing <== for All Product
    * Index Listing

    0= off <==

    So please tell WHY is the price still showing up on home. This is driving me nuts!

    version 1.35.

    Why do you want to turn off the price?

    I assume you're trying to use the What's New centerbox to showcase products and draw attention, but without giving away all the information?

    Traditionally folks tend to use Categories for that purpose, as they don't link to prices, and don't link directly to specific products. In your case, you're be linking to specific products.

    Why don't you want to use categories instead?

    BTW, turning off prices in the centerbox modules is not a simple settings-change. It will require coding changes. Those settings you've been changing affect the "all featured products" or "all our new products" or "all products" etc pages.
    The "index listing" menu affects only the home page, but the choices there only affect which content-boxes are shown and in what order. Prices are not changeable there.

    Ok:::I am open to suggestions. Although I am not a fan of categories on the front page and categories on the side box.

    I was going for a different look by not trying to use a double set of categories. I am going to re-think my design plan.

    I glad you explained to me about the hard coding so at least I won't be searching for the "off" button.

    Thanks a bunch for the quick reply.
