You could change the Maximum Value for how many to display on the list ...

So I did,
but some of categories contains really a lot of products. For this reason I want to limit displaying to less amout and place a link near page# "show all"

That would take some custom coding to alter the display maximum based on a link to show all ...
This can be done ... with some custom coding ...
And, somewhere there is actually a post written on how to do this ... but I am not sure where that is hidding ...

My pleasure, Linda...You folks inspire good karma.
I've just added the code to make "View All" work for my category pages. Works perfectly...until I turn on Ultimate SEO URLs.
When SEO URLs are enable, the link simply returns me to the same page (and doesn't show all product listings for that category).
I'm guessing that the "override=more" bit is being ignored by the ReWrite functions for SEO URLs.
For example, here's a non-SEO URL:
and here's a SEO URL rewrite:HTML Code:http://www.mysite.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=74_100&override=more
Can anyone offer insight on a fix?HTML Code:http://www.mysite.com/store/gifts-for-her-c-74_100.html?override=more
Thanks in advance,
Note to self...
It took me a few days to grit my teeth and hunt this down.
The problem was my bad and not a result of enabling SEO.
When migrating the updates from my test site I neglected to make the appropriate mods to both the product_listing.php and tpl_modules_product_listing.php files. This resulted in the override=more conditional being executed by tpl_modules_product_listing.php when the link was selected, but ultimately ignored by product_listing.php and processed as a "splitpage".
Cheers,
