I just can't seem to comphrehend the options/attributes stuff. I've sold point of sales systems for years, had many cases of even three way options for one item - size / color / price for larger sizes. As well as mix or match pricing so that they could be $ 4 each, 3 for $10. I could get that easily.
But I am totally out of there on this -
I have several hundred fragrance products in each of maybe 8 categories. Perfume, colonge, etc. Each will be in it's own category. Then each different fragrance will be available in 5 or 6 sizes. Each size will have the same price throughout the category, so that 2 oz of cologne will always be the same price.
I don't want a base price plus so much for the larger sizes. I want size 1 to have a price, size 2 to have a price, size 3 to have a price, etc.
So, what I'm looking for is -
Perfume as a category,
Angel as a product
Chanel # 5 as a product
Then all of the products to have identical prices
1/8 oz $ 10
2 dram $ 20 (note NOT +10)
1/2 oz $ 50
etc.
Then Eau de Cologne as a category,
Angel as a product
Chanel # 5 as a product
Then all of the products to have identical prices
1/8 oz $ 5
2 dram $ 10
1/2 oz $ 25
etc.
Will someone here lay this (I'm sure) simple scenario our for someone who is off the sauce, hasn't toked in years, but just can't get this?
