How to add new pages with php code

Hi

I am trying to find a simple way to add my own php pages linked to the side boxes. I have tried EZ-pages, but they cannot accept php (only html). How can I do this?

I need just a blank php page to open in the central area.

Can you not utilise the admin/tools/define pages editor?

This is what I am doing right now - editing page 2 in the dreamweaver. It is not good to use the internal zen editor as I need full php editing and debuggingg capabilities. One thing I am still missing:

index.php?main_page=page_2

opens a page /english/html_includes/define_page_2.php

So, if i create a new page with name define_mytest.php

Its link will be index.php?main_page=mytest? Is it correct?

Also, where could I change a header "Page 2" appearing on the top? It is not in the page's code. Where?

I am trying to make a "shortcut" if its possible.
I have added a page define_mypage.php and trying to call it as

index.php?main_page=mypage

But does not work

Is there more simple way than creating four folders and templates for a single new page?

Yes, there are no "shortcuts" in zen! I am up and running, but had to go through all the 5 steps of creating new pages.
