problem with zencart after security patch

Hi,

my site had been working fine for quite some time, recently I applied a "
patch" for security purposes, this patch was in a section of code relating to coupon handling and now the site seems to work fine, however when a customer completes an order, the paypal payment goes through with no info available specifying the order details, and there is no order showing in the zencart admin pages....

Any suggestions on what I should do?

My version of zencart is

Zen Cart 1.2.3
Database Patch Level: 1.2.2

I just did a test order by logging into my account on my site, put an item in the cart, went to checkout process, selected pay with paypal, went through to the paypal site, processed the payment, and it put me back to my website with the following info on screen

[B]Thank You! We Appreciate your Business!
We will ship your order promptly after the funds are verified in our account. Please allow an appropriate amount of time for delivery depending upon the shipment method you choose and paid for.

Checkout Successful! Thank you for your payment. Your transaction has been completed, and a receipt for your purchase has been emailed to you. You may log into your account at www.paypal.com to view details of this transaction.
Please notify me of updates to the products I have selected below:

Your Order Number is: 0

the order number is 0 is telling isn't it? since there is NO ORDER in the system at all?!@#$@$@#>?

I installed the stuck order script and recovered my lost order and was able to ship it out on time thank god....

I am still suffering from the lost order from paypal problem. I rolled back the changes I made from the security patch, not sure what else I can do at this point. Are there different versions of the paypal IPN, I see talk of turning logging on, but there is no place to turn that on in my paypal ipn settings in the admin panel.....

I am also waiting on a reply from my hosting company to figure out if the ports are firewalled or not....

I resolved this issue, There was something broken on paypal's side of the equation, figures paypal was at fault. They NEVER make mistakes LOL!

What was wrong with paypal? I'm also having the exact same problem.
