Hi ! How can i limit the number of category or product to show ?

Hi everybody ! I have one question, How can i limit the number of category or product to show ? and another word, for example, if i have a hosting account, I have 3 zent cart, and I need to put 3 category, : 1-Basic Category =20 product
2-Standard Category =100 producto and 3- Premiun Category= unlimited Product
you know that is possible ????
I need somthing as that, when the user wants to put more product over his category ( for example Basic Category) the system show a Error, example : Sorry ! your Category is Basic, you only can add 20 product.

ok. you forget about category basic, etc.... that was a bad example, I only need to limit the number of category or product, for example: 50 pruduct and when I will try to put more product the system will show Error: that is possible ???
