    I have been having the same problems as everyone else.
    No orders coming thru.
    I have setup Paypal IPN correctly. Also un-installed and re-installed IPN.
    My website was just setup w/Zen cart 1 month ago--so I assume I have the newest version.

    I still have no orders coming thru, no order numbers on the "checkout success" page and customers are NOT getting a confirmation email showing what they ordered.

    I have the "stuck orders in Paypal" module which basically does me no good as it is not telling me what products someone ordered.

    Anyone able to help?? I have noticed this issue seems to have been a problem for the last 5 months--judging by the numerous threads elsewhere and on other websites. My web designer has no idea what the issue could be stemming from. She thought that maybe it had to do with Paypal adding my state tax in (thus a customer getting double taxed)--but when I removed that from Paypal, Zen cart still did not work. And yes, I also tried the "refund the Paypal order $.01 cent to push the order back in Zen cart"..and that was useless.

    Anyone have any ideas?
    Should I look for an alternate shopping cart software?

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

    Please look in your Tools ... Server Info ...

    Could you paste what you see from below the menu bar, up to and including the PHP version?

    I have also used the following--posted earlier by DickTerpin and it DID work!

    /includes/modules/payment/paypal/paypal_functions.php

    line 60 -- alter it like this:

    if (strtolower($postArray['business']) != strtolower(MODULE_PAYMENT_PAYPAL_BUSINESS_ID)) {


    I just did a test and the order came thru!
    However, no order number was on the "checkout success" page--I'll work on THAT next!!

    That has been added to the upcoming v1.3.6 to account for changes with PayPal that conflict with their documentation ...

    This definatly works, Im now using it! I knew my settings were correct
    Would you mind stating what the code was to begin with? My line 60 doesn't remotely resemble what you're saying to alter. I can't find something to match up with and know what to change.

    Glad this helped someone. Basically if you have configured all your pay pal settings correctly ie. used your primary paypal email (which is case sensitive), correctly followed the directions at the top of the paypal module setup (instant payment notification or ipn for short) etc. there should be know reason this module shouldn't work. If you are still having problems after the code fix i stated earlier, then your not configuring your settings correctly or you have damaged your paypal module code!. I always recommend that you back up all files before changing the code or database. Its better to take precautions then be sorry!!!!!!!!!!

    And actually, the order number did indeed appear on the checkout success page and subsequently, when I "viewed the order" as a customer would, it appeared there as well.
