Fix the width of center column on product information page?

Hello! I know nothing about css at all. But I am experiencing some problem with the layout of the center column. Its width varies when different product description is shown on the page. Meantime, the right column is pushed out of the page.

I believe this problem arose because of the fact that when I added in the product description, I just copied and pasted the descriptions from other website. Therefore, the format of the description part varies each time. Some of them have a very big width and thus, the center column has to ajust its width to accomodate it and pushes the right sideboxes out of the page.

Am I right about that? If so, can I fix the width of the center column without truncating the descriptions? If not, how can I fix this problem? Thanks very much!

Hi! Yeah, I know it's better to include the links. However, it's still on my localhost and hasn't gone alive yet. So I don't have a way to post it.

But what I meant is whether I can do this:
Despite what html code I used in the 'product description' part, when I bring up the product description page, the center column will not change its width to accomodate the description. Instead, the description reorganizes to fit the center column. Something like the ' Word Wrap' in notepad of windows systems.

I know it's better for me to uni-format my product description html structure. But I don't have the time to change each of them as of right now. I am looking for a compromise.

Or, any other good suggestions? Thanks!

If the html code that you are pasting includes any size parameters drop these and just paste the formatted text portions.

So, you mean, there's no way to have those size parameter ignored? Instead, I have to delete those myself? That's sad to hear, coz it means a lot more work for me to do.

The text box that is being used for this allows for html formatting. So if you place any valid html in this area why would you think that it would be ignored??

How exactly, would you expect this code to be ignored? I know of no way to instruct a browser to ignore valid code...
