"table does not exist" after trying to download site to localhost

1146 Table 'groshxrj_zc1.configuration' doesn't exist
in:
[select configuration_key as cfgkey, configuration_value as cfgvalue from configuration]

This is the message I get after I tried to open my local copy after install my public site on my local computer. I am a total noob and don't really understand at all what I am doing, but am an expert (modestly speaking ) at following tutorials and how-to's. Or so I thought. I followed the steps here and here, or so I thought, but when it came to step 7 - ready to go, well, it was not that easy. Is there an obvious mistake I have made? A step I forgotten?

Local computer is running on windows xp with easyphp, my uploaded site is found at www.igroshage.no/shop

... nevermind. I did a fresh install and reinstalled the different mods I had manually. Hope things run smoother when it is time to upload the site again. Maybe I will let someone else do that job!
