Easy Populate Question....

ok..... i have tried to use easy populate... i have tried insterting the file... splitting the file... and transfering to /temp dir.... and inserting from there... everytime i try... it times out and i get page not found... I have found no thread that helps with this... i have tried lowering the file size when it splits and still has the same problems.... any help would appreciated.... thanks

try using ftp to upload the file, and then import from easy populate in Admin. If the browser times out, the script still should usually go to completion.

do you mean to the temp folder... i did that .. thre browser timed out.. and the new products are not posted..... if you mean something else... please explain.... i love the cut and paste aspect... if i can get it to work.......

also the reaadme file wasn't explicit enough.. do i have to edit the same products each time... meaning... to add products.. i have to include the items that are already there... or can i just put the new items inthe same format????

you only need to provide the products you wish to add or edit - all other existing products can be left out.

hi there im having a similar problem, im using zc 1.3.5 and ep 2.7.5 and when i go to upload the csv file into the temp folder it works fine, but when i try to insert into DB, it goes really fast and says done and theres nothing in there for me to see, no products, nothing... anything i can do about this? thanks
