Default Humbly requesting a little help please...

I'm having problems and can't seem to figure out why. Maybe it's because it's a Friday and it was a VERY long week.

I'm trying to install 1.3.5 on my server in a folder named "v2store". I currently have an active store running 1.2.6 and wanted to see how the new version is looking. For some darn reason I can't even run the darn installer. I've uploaded all files, created my database, entered the info into the two configure.php files, CHMOD'd them, and every time I go the the /v2store folder, I get this:

    1146 Table 'biogem_v2store.configuration' doesn't exist
    in:
[select configuration_key as cfgkey, configuration_value as cfgvalue from configuration]

Huh? lol. Please help. I know it's probably staring me right in the face, but I just can't seem to see it.

Link to existing store is www.bio-gem.com/store
Link to attempted 1.3.5 install is www.bio-gem.com/v2store

Thanks alot to anybody who can point me in the right direction. :)

are you installing a fresh copy or are you doing a test upgrade from 1.2.6 to 1.3.6? if you're doing a fresh copy.. remove both configure files and re-run the installer. If you're doing an upgrade.. well.. im not sure how to help you on this one

I'm installing a fresh copy of 1.3.5 in a different directory.

Don't the configure files have to be there to allow the installer to connect to my database, etc?

When I delete the configure files, I get an internal server error when I try to run the installer.

keep a backup of your configure files.. and then create empty ones and set them to 777

the installer writes everything in the config files.. which you define through the setup process. upgrades are different though.. so thats why i was asking :)
