Optional Insurance Module-optional???

Greetings folks,

i FINALLY installed the optional insurance module, and placed a test order as a customer. how do i make insurance optional instead it of it automatically being added to the order total? someone else had recommended a post to read but it doesn't exist, and the original thread on the module is over a year old.

can someone please help i think my friend would be interested in adding this module to her cart as well but i'd better know what i'm doing before helping her!!

It works fine for me. What version is your cart? What happens on your side? Can you give a link?

set yourself up as a new customer

i tried to set the limit at $10,000 to exempt all sales from mandatory insurance, but it didn't work.

thanks, but i got it to work! for some reason, i put in 10,000.00 as the amount to make ins. mandatory but the system read it as $10...not sure why...but it does offer it as an option now. i reset it at $5,000, as I am sure I won't get *that* much in 1 sale
