Forum integration to show cart contents in forum header

Hi everybody!

Well, i'm trying to get to display the cart content on the forum, because the header design, as I intended it, should display some basic basket information
so, basically:

mysite.net/shop <== zencart
mysite.net/forum <== phpbb

is there any hope?

i have tried to modify the sidebox on external page mod with no luck:
the application_top.php seems to check the folder structure wich is messed, since it works from another folder..

any ideas? has anybody done this already? or if anyone got the shopping cart to work on a page outside the zencart folder, i would really apreciate some hints

i'm currently using zencart 1.3.5

Anyone? ..well i haven't given up yet

so, after some research, i read that zencart evolved from osCommerce and i found this file: osC-External-Sessions-v1.0.zip its dated 2005. I'll be trying to get it to work this week, hoping its not too much complicated updating it to the current version of zencart..

I'll appreciate some help as i dont have that much experience on php programming

anyways... if i'll get anything working i'll let you know
