wow, i would like to know this too!!
Yes this can be done with attributes. Take a look here for an example

Oops, I posted a link to your own site...sorry!

:-)
wow, thanks..
yes so far it's not bad... but it looks ugly and i can't get previews running.... and its possible to buy "nothing"....
the only way i can thin of on how to see the track name displayed beside each download checkbox, was to add a attribute value named after the track...
but having many cds this would give many many values...
and that can't be the point?
Probably a dumb question: Did you add the media clip to the product? (admin->Extras->Media Manager->Assign to product)
and did you set the product to be priced by attributes?

yea i did,
found the solution... it's only possible ot add media collections to a product it the product is in a subcategory...
No, the cool thing would be, if one could add a download attribute to each file of the collection.
This would give the preview, select track option every mp3 store wants.
This store I did doesn't have it quite like the site you mentioned, but it works

When there is a product that they also sell the physical cd with, that is just added as another attribute. Had we wanted to add the track lengths, etc. we could have added those as attributes also.
I talked the owner into buying the Wimpy mp3 player to avoid having users have their default music players come up to play the song samples. Plus with the popularity of ipods, I thought it made a better cosmetic choice. We just added a field to the product description in the database to input the mp3 code for each cd. Then added a field for it in the tpl_product_music_info.php template by the attributes.

But you have had to add an attribute for each songtitle....?
if you have many cds this will end up in as many attributes as the total of downloadable tracks.. doesn't it?
