Default Why Paypal IPN "unique" Transaction Type?

I am working on a new 1.3.5 store site from scratch but with my upgraded DB from 1.27d

I needed to set up a new bank account and email with Paypal for other stupid reasons that I wont go into here.

And yes, I deleted and then reinstalled Paypal before setting up.

With my 1.27d store and still original settings if I test order- it posted back in the Admin- Customers- Paypal IPN as; "web-accept" in the Transaction Type.

But now when I do a test order on this new 1.3.5 site it posts back as "unique". The transaction acted normal.
When I test a refund from Paypal the Transaction Type is "parent" (?) is the new Paypal module set up differant?

I believe all my setting are the same, with the new email and bank info and it seemed to work ok. I asked paypal and the rep did not know what it meant.

Does anyone see this as meaning something that needs addressing?

thats just information that paypal transfers back to the cart. When you log into your paypal account and view the details of the transaction, you will see both values on the transaction detail page - its just a way to keep track of it in case you get multiple payments for the same order or similar orders

also before you get too deep into 1.3.5 I suggest upgrading to 1.3.6.. there are a few paypal bugs fixed in it

    Thank you for your response.

Yes, I realize this is Paypal posting information back, but in my 1.27d version it is just saying "web-accept". I now assume with 1.3.5 there is this new difference as everything else is working fine.

and yes, I will be moving on to 1.3.6, but I is slow and am working on some non code changes, learning the css, then I will move on. And it certainly will be the day before 1.4.0 comes out, as it was with this case.

    Thanks again,

Just a little follow up note,

I searched the Details of my PayPal transactions on their site and I am not finding any references to "unique", "parent" or for that matter "web_accept".(?)

It does state Payment Type as "instant", with my tests.

I plan to move on to 1.3.6 anyway, I think I'm ready to cram a bunch of mods on so I can find more interesting ways to find problems that don't exist.
