Default Error 1005 - Can no longer access store

    Hello,

I can no longer access my store. I'm getting the following error. Any ideas?

    1005 Can't create table './store/db_cache' (errno: 122)

    Thanks

Now I get the following error:

    1017 Can't find file: 'db_cache.MYD' (errno: 2)

    Can anyone help? Thanks.

    Hello,

For some reason this seems to have corrected itself. When I received the original I was running an analysis of my stats using my FastStats Analyzer program. I also attempted to login to Admin at the same time. Add to that the fact that my disk quota was over 100% and . . .

The first thing I did was free up disk space. I could get to all parts of my site except the store and the photo gallery. After freeing up the space I could access the Photo Gallery but still not the store. I reset my VPS services via the admin panel of my website but still could not access my site. After about fifteen minutes I could finally get back in to the admin and the store looks fine also.

I assume it was a disk space issue and that resetting the VPS helped but if not it would be nice to know what caused this to happen. Should I not run my stats program at the same time I'm in the Store Admin?

    Thanks!

A Web site running out of Web space is like a Car running out of gas.

Although some Web pages may still work, things like; Receiving eMail, creating new database entries, etc., will all fail. Anything that requires 'new' Web space will just not work.

Most Control Panels will state how much available or free, Web space is remaining.
Much like a Gas gauge, one needs to keep their eye on it from time to time.

And the problem was not with the VPS but with the Web space allocated to your Hosting account. You need to either increase the Web space or delete some files every now 'n then.
