Missing menu

I am weeks down the road from having installed ver 1.3.0.2

I have added products and credit card merchant connection. It is only today that I have discovered I do not have the left most menu of "configuration".

works just fine. It's just when I log in there is not "configuration" menu.

I see info on secure server vs not ssl which I can barely grasp.

I am hosted on a Aplus Unix server.

1st how do you backup data?
2nd? then where do i look?

EDITED: Never, ever post the zen_id or zenAdminID (session id) in a forum, email, newsgroup, newsletter, advertisement, etc. etc. etc. or you will be doomed ...

Have you perhaps installed the "Admin Levels" or "Admin Profiles" mod on your site ?
