Main Home Page Images- How do I apply Them

Hi,
Can some one point me in there right direction in using a image picture
of a produt on my main page. I've been looking all through the posts for weeks. Maybe there is a different name for it I'm not sure but any help would be great.
I'd like to be able to put a picture on the main home page and right up a sales pitch next to it.

To put an image on your index page, you can use the define pages editor in your admin panel and edit the define_main_page.php page. Then, you can input html code into that page which refers to the image already on your site.

For example, I'd put in the source within define_main_page.php something like this (assuming I've already uploaded image.gif to the appropriate folder):

src="includes/templates/YOURTEMPLATE/images/image.gif

What I do is I use an HTML editor to create a table with cells, text, and images as I like. Then, I simply copy the HTML code from the editor and paste it as the HTML in the define_pages_editor.php. I have to adjust some of the image source code so the urls are relative, but it works pretty well.

Thank you for that information..........I did go to define page editor but wasn't sure about the URL part of it. Now I know where to upload the pictures it all makes sence now.....Thanks again........
