google checkout problem

i've tried a fresh install of 1.3.6 and 1.3.5 with the latest google checkout module and i have the same problem with both. after i've installed and setup the module when i try to use the checkout, the google checkout button does not even show up and i do not get any error messages. has anybody else encountered this problem and if so do you have a fix?

If memory serves me right you would need to cut and paste the googlecheckout folder (to be found in the root directory) in to the the admin folder.

That should solve the problem

moving the googlecheckout folder into the admin folder had no effect. the module shows up on the admin end, and i've entered my google sandbox information, but no google icons show up when i try to check out. making me angry.

-Doanload the latest version of google checkout here http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=314
-find the folder includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE rename it to your template directory
-Copy and paste the directory as is to your zen shopping cart
-enable google checkout in payent modules

ok so i renamed the your_template folder to just template. is that what you wanted me to do? and nothing has changed.

This was bugging me like mad too, however, as soon as I switched out of the "sandbox" it appeared.

Nooo... "your_template" is a placeholder name... You need to rename it to whatever template name you are currently using in zen-cart..... whether it's "default_template" or "simple_zen" or whatever you're currently using for a template.

I'm having the same or a similar problem, no google button shows up, and in payment options it lists Google Checkout, but there's no radio button beside it, if I try to click checkout from there without selecting the other radio button (PayPal) it gives the error that no payment method has been selected.

I've read the previous posts, but am confused because renaming YOUR_TEMPLATE to the template I'm using isn't possible, they're in the same directory. Putting the file inside the YOUR_TEMPLATE folder (called template) inside the directory of the template I'm using is what I did originally and that didn't work either, obviously.

Can anyone clarify this, it's driving me nuts.

OH, I get it now. I was using the "checkout link", which bypasses the option to use Google Checkout. Going to "shopping cart" I see it down there (it's off the edtge of the window for some reason, but that's a whole 'nother problem...).

I would like to get rid of the text on the checkout page that says "google checkout" since at that point it's irrelevant, but agian, I think that's a separate issue (my keyboard is being weird, sorry for any typos)

I'm having the worse time after updating to the new release of google checkout.

I've made sure that everything is in the right place, and permissions are set accordingly but the settings sidebox has empty fields and the descriptions to the fields are gone.
