"Click for Price" for mininum advertised price

I installed the MAP Pricing from here:

I modified it to show to original price.

Now I want to add a link to "Priced so low..." When that link is clicked, an overlay popup will show the price, like this: http://nokoria.com/testing/show_price.html

I'm not sure how integrate this code into the "function_prices.php"

I have not used the MAP Pricing mod but theorize that they have added a DB table or field to hold the other price. to keep this dynamic it will require that the lower price call be inserted and all converted to php. You can begin by looking at how the tpl_product_info_display.php calls the product price and this is where the on click function will have to be added with the call to the other price.

From what I understand, this is what I should try to do:

create a new file called: tpl_click_for_price.php

Inside that file, I put:

Javascript and the link to show the pop-up price. Everything regarding the price and displaying text will be inside this new file.

Then, in tpl_product_info_display.php, I just add the following:

If (mininum advertised price is true)

call tpl_click_for_price.php


Is that right?

This would be one way to do it...just insure that the new file is a valid php file
