Remove brackets from shipping text

Hi - could someone tell me how to remove the brackets which appear around MODULE_SHIPPING_FLAT_TEXT_WAY ( defined in includes\languages\english\modules\shipping) which appears whenever totals are displayed. I've looked everywhere.

I believe the parens that you are looking for are in the
/includes/classes/shipping.php

Around line 136:

              'title' => $quotes['module'] . ' (' . $quotes['methods'][$i]['title'] . ')', 

Note: there are no overrides for this file ...

Hi - thanks for your reply. I've just made the code change so that it reads

'title' => $quotes['module'] . $quotes['methods'][$i]['title'],

but I am still getting brackets. I've relogged in etc but no luck. Any ideas?

Note: you did not try to use an override on the /classes did you? There are no overrides for the /classes ...

No, I updated includes/classes/shipping.php

It's been driving me mad for ages.

I actually have no text defined for MODULE_SHIPPING_FLAT_TEXT_WAY and just want MODULE_SHIPPING_FLAT_TEXT_TITLE to be displayed, and currently I'm getting Postage & Package () which doesn't look great

NOTE: use your templates and overrides directories ...

search for:  (
Lines 97, 103, 109, 124, 130, 136
and change the parens on each line

Example Line 97 looks like this:

         <td colspan="2"><?php echo $quotes[$i]['module']; ?>&nbsp;(<?php echo $quotes[$i]['error']; ?>)</td>

/includes/classes/shipping.php
Line 136:

              'title' => $quotes['module'] . ' (' . $quotes['methods'][$i]['title'] . ')', 

/includes/modules/pages/checkout_shipping/header_php.php
Line 152:

                                'title' => (($free_shipping == true) ?  $quote[0]['methods'][0]['title'] : $quote[0]['module'] . ' (' . $quote[0]['methods'][0]['title'] . ')'), 

that should be all of them ...

Note: this will be reworked in v1.4 for a smoother and cleaner method to make these changes ...
