    Default Barclays Epdq update

    Hi,

I wanted to reply here but I couldn't....

    http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11765

I made some modification to this module so yopu donc need to customize the database, URL to the php files. Now it includes the includes/configure.php and find it itself.

    http://www.indule.fr/epdq.zip

It is a very simple update but it makes it even simpler to install !

    Thanks,

    Gerome.romey(at)medea.co.uk

    Hi,

does this module work with 1.3.7? If so could you re-upload please. I have had no luck trying to find a Zen Cart solution for Barclays ePDQ.

    Thank you.

Ok back to reality now lee.

Through admin epdq works a treat, i coudl fill in the text fields and all works well.

I thne went as a customer and went through to checkout and on the 'Payment Method' area 'Credit Card - EPDQ Form' comes up as the only payment method, which is great.

Now with all the customers details logged, and the purchases ready to be baught I thought I would then fill a form in or something for my credit card details, and instead clicked 'Continue to Checkout' button, and after a delay it went to the 'checkout_confirmation' page, and still no place to enter my card details.

So then my only option left is to press 'Confirm the order' and it took me to an epdq page which stated that 'It is not possible to order from the store at this time.
Please contact the merchant for further information.'

So once that bit is working, does the customer eneter their credit card details in at that point, or should there have been an opportunity before it.

    Thanks

    Lee

I got all the above working now, and basically i can pass over the total to a barclays payment page for credit card details.

I did that went to the second page and thought oh no (like a customer would do) I got to enter address details again.

Now I have read that you can pass the address details over, but has anybody done it or do they know how to.

This is my current and last problem for today, any help will be well apprecitated.

    Thanks

Have a Drink Re: Barclays Epdq update

    Hi,

I have been asking people and reading posts for days trying to get the good old epdq working without success.

Jenny Weir was kind enough to send me the files that she created some time ago which unfortunately did not work in their current form.

Then after alot of hair pulling and epdq guide shredding I accidentally came across a page that was referring to php4 and php5 saying that with version 5 you need to make sure slashed were removed.

So with Jenny's code if you goto line 222 of the epdq_form.php (the one that goes in the modules folder) and change it to:-

    $strEPDQ = stripslashes($strEPDQ);

    hey presto it works.

    Hope this helps someone.

    Take care,

    Darren

    Hi,

After much reading and speaking to barclaycard i have this mod installed on my 1.37 multi store.

I am using the files created by Jen in the broken link above.

I am hosting my website on my windows 2003 server, running php 5.

Please can anyone send me the files in a working condition? along with some guidance if you have come across any issues.

    kind regards
