    Default Tax problem

Hi, my question is regarding to the taxes...

I have set the dutch tax (BTW) it is 19% but when I want to insert the net amount (the tax-included price) it adds 19% to the gross price (tax-free price) On the bill I see this, which isnt correct..

Artikelen BTW(tax) Prijs(price) (ex. BTW) Prijs (incl. BTW) Totaal (ex. BTW) Totaal (incl. BTW)
    1 x Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook P7120 19% €1.190,00 €1.190,00 €1.190,00 €1.190,00

How can I edit this all? It's really a big problem...
It would be great if someone could help me..

So how can I change the inputfields on the insert product page, the tax-free&tax-included have to be switched..

and when will it all be shown good on the bill?

    Greetings

Is there really no one who can help me with this? It's a rather large problem. I dont get it, why does everybodys taxation work fine, but here on mine I get this issue. I have installed a Dutch Language pack, could it be because of that?

could someone make a printscreen of the Add product page? So I can see what the things are called in english...

    Greetings

The gross price includes tax; the net price is pre-tax.

A screenshot of the add screen is included.

    Good luck,

As long as you have super vision, you should have no trouble reading that attachment.

Maybe switch your language preference to English to see what the screen looks like in English.

I totally forgot about changing the language and checking it then. Did it and saw that the values are
Products Price (Net): Products Price (Gross):
If I typ 1 in the "Net" part, Gross becomes 1.19, it has to be other way around, Gross has to be 1 and Net has to be 1.19
Or am I seeing this wrong?

You're not seeing it wrong, you're thinking about it wrong. Gross means "grossed up for taxes." Gross includes tax; net does not.

Scott (or someone else), perhaps you can help me with this one too... it would be great.

When I make an order, in step 3 of 3 I see a summary. its the following:

    Inhoud winkelwagen

    Aantal Item Name Totaal 1 x Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook P1510 €899,00 €899,00
    Sub-Totaal:

    €0,00
    Afhalen (Afhalen):

    €170,81
    :

    €1.069,81
    Totaal:

the red text is the tax, this is correct but it doesnt say what that price is, I have to write "tax" underneath it. In which file, line, etc, can I change this?

Typically this is the name of the tax - does it show up correctly on page 2 of the checkout?

I think you're going to have to go back and forth between English and Dutch to debug the translation.

    Good luck,

Nope, in the english version I see this, its similar to the dutch one, so without the word "Tax".. I'll try to find it in the php files...

    Sub-Total:

    €0,00
    Store Pickup (Walk In):

    €170,81
    :

    €1.069,81

    thanx for your help
