Hi there to all
I want to greet u for the great progress u know.
Ive been long time away from all this
becouse I taking my military employment so in my free time i use to help for
some web disigns so here I go with my problem.

When I try to send email from my shop It wont work every action which needs to send mail It comes a blank page with text Email Error: .

Ive tested the mail server it works properly with no problems but with Zen it wont.

Im using
Zen Cart 1.3.6
Database Patch Level: 1.3.6
Server OS: Linux 2.6.9-42.0.3.EL
Database: MySQL 5.0.27
PHP Version: 5.2.0 (Zend: 2.2.0)
HTTP Server: Apache

last time in 1.26, I used smtp, but when I upgraded to 1.36, I get this problem, and need to use php to work. Nothing else changed.

Hello the last 2 sites I have built have all had this problem - both of them fresh 1.36 installs and luckily used the solution above


however I have now just locked myself out of a site because the email is set to sendmail - when it needs to be PHP I forgot my store password and can't get a new one sent - HELP...

Everything is all good - but just set up a test site on 1.36 and again it has defaulted to sendmail instead of PHP so straight away I get an error message when the store needs to send an email. I know what to change now - but seems bizarre that it doesn't default to the default.
